Thought you were required...
Civil Liberties, who needs them?

Watch those Civil Liberties crumble...

Be afraid, be very afraid...

"Mississippi is one of only two states, along with North Dakota, requiring consent of both parents before a minor can get an abortion."

So, if a little girl is raped by her father, he is required to give consent for her to have an abortion... hmm...

"It is one of two states, along with Texas, requiring that women seeking abortions be told, in contradiction of National Cancer Institute findings, that abortion might increase their risk of breast cancer."

So, never mind what scientific studies say, you are required to lie to the patient, in order to try to keep them from making this choice... hmm...

"allowing any health care provider to refuse to provide any abortion-related service, including emergency referrals."

So, if carrying the pregnancy to term, is a serious threat to the mother's health, and her insurance requires a referral in order to pay for the procedure, she's out of luck if her doctor doesn't feel she should make that decision... hmm...

"state-run medical facilities that now perform no abortions but would do so in the '60s if doctors judged them necessary to protect a woman's mental or physical health.state-run medical facilities that now perform no abortions but would do so in the '60s if doctors judged them necessary to protect a woman's mental or physical health."

So, if a woman needs an abortion for her health, she has to travel to the one clinic in the state which performs them, in Jackson... hmm...

"...the poorest of the poor are either having the kids or getting a back alley abortion..."

Well, that seem appropriate considering that this is the USA, the richest country in the world, people should be forced to have back alley medical treatment because they are afraid, or denied it through the proper channels... hmm...

I reiterate I am afraid for the future of this country...
