I finally got the new Lonely Planet!!  Let the excitement and planning begin!!

It's official I'm headed back to Europe.  Although the time frame is about the same (around a week) the list of locations is somewhat shorter.  Roma, and probably Florence.  It should be a blast, so if you have vacation to burn or can't decide what to do with your Spring break, join us.  Should be approx March 16-25th.  Let me know if you're interested...

Well the schedule is set:
14 days Barcelona
3 days Paris
3 days London
3 days Prague.

So I just confirmed it Anthrax was indeed on my flight from Roma to Barcelona on the 5th of July. Too bad it wasn't a good band... I might have gone for autographs or photos. Although I'm impressed that they were on a 9AM flight the night after a show...

I did it!! I survived my first trip off the continent. Had a great two weeks in BCN, and an awsome weekend in Roma (watch the side bar for pictures). I highly highly reccoment Rome to anyone who has not been there. In unhappy news, in my experience European airports and airline companies suck. In happy news i get to spend the week in Chicago (the longest amount of time i've spent here since I moved in), because european airlines suck. In happy news i get my new sofa deliverred on Friday. I'll post more details about my trip shortly, I'm off to upload pics now.

And I'm still taking suggestions (and travel buddies for that matter) for my upcomming one week vacation in Europe (Prague and Paris are on the must see list)

Well it's official I'm finally getting to head across the pond. I'm off to BCN on Sunday for 2 weeks. And then again the last 2 weeks of July. So if you're considering a Euporean vacation this summer, I'm thinking I'll take the first week of august off and wonder around Europe. Let me know if you're interested.

Woah! I made it through. I tried to get my photos off of my camera, but I don't have any transfer cables here, grr. I tried to buy one, but as it turns out Best Buy failed me, and Circuit City was even worse....

Mardi Gras is coming up, and I'm going damnit. I can't wait, drinking, drinking, drinking.... Oh yea! I'm counting the days until I can have $.25 martinis, champange brunch, beignets, Pat O'Brien's and of couse the drink of all drinks.... "Pucker up and Kiss my Ass" Oh yea!!!!!!
